Q: What has happened to the Personal Web Page (PWP) management tools?

A: We have upgraded the PWP management tools in order to give you improvements and additional features that are not available with the previous set of tools. This ensures that you have the latest technology with which to manage your Personal Web Pages.

Q: What other changes happened with Personal Web Pages?

A: All customers have also received a free upgrade from 10MB to 20MB of storage per e-mail account (you get a total of six) for a total of 120MB of Web space.

Q: How has the upgrade affected my Personal Web Pages?

A: The upgrade should have no direct affect on your Personal Web Pages. The upgrade only affects the tools used to create and manage Personal Web Pages.

Q: Will the new PWP management tools work with my existing site?

A: Unfortunately, they will not as the new PWP management tools are not compatible with the management tools you used to create your existing Web pages. However, you can continue to make updates to your existing Web pages by uploading your changes via FTP.

Q: How do I update my Personal Web Pages via FTP?

A: Using Internet Explorer, enter

ftp://username:password@upload.insightbb.com

in the address bar, replacing username and password with your login information. You will then be logged into your directory on the PWP server and should see all your files there (if you have any). Simply drop new files into your directory for uploading. Click here for detailed information on FTP uploading.

Q: Will my login information for PWP change as part of the upgrade?

A: No, the same login credentials you use currently for PWP will remain the same after the upgrade.

Q: Will the upgrade cost me anything?

A: Absolutely not. This upgrade is free of charge to you as part of your Insight Broadband service.

Q: Can I get my own personal domain from Insight?
