The Insight Fraud and Abuse Security Team

The Insight Fraud and Abuse Security Team is responsible for enforcing the policies set forth in the Insight's Service Agreements. The policies set forth in the Service Agreements are in place to help protect our customers from the consequences of malicious users on the Insight Internet network. If the complaint is registered against an Insight Internet customer we will take appropriate action based upon our established policies and procedures. This may include suspension or termination of your Insight Internet Service without prior notice to you.


If you feel that you have been a victim of Internet abuse, you can submit the required information via our online reporting form or via E-mail at abuse@InsightBB.com. Please only submit information pertaining to events that have originated from the Insight network. Insight has no control over other networks and is unable to resolve issues that did not originate from our network.


For emergency issues, you can reach us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by contacting your local Insight office. Otherwise, you can E-mail us at abuse@InsightBB.com.


Emergency issues are:

  • A situation in which life is threatened
  • A situation in which there is imminent threat of substantial damage or destruction of property
  • Active DDoS attack that is disabling another network


Requests For Customer Information

Requests for subscriber information must be handled by the Insight Legal Department and must be warranted by proper legal documentation such as a Court Order or Subpoena. For more information about requesting subscriber information, please contact:
